Essential Oils
Essential Oils are concentrated extracts from aromatic plants, each having their unique characteristics, distilled into oil. Essential oils are being studied for more than 60 years, but a growing interest has emerged in the recent decade due to their increased application in a number of industries. They are widely used in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, recreational, home & personal care, and food and beverage sectors.
Not all essential oils are created equal. Many factors such as species of the extracted plant, the geographic location of the plant, farming operations, harvest time, extraction technique, and storage affect the quality of essential oils.
Lemongrass
- Lemongrass, a genus of Asian, African, Australian, and tropical island plants in the grass family, is a perennial grass with thin and long leaves and is one of the most commercially cultivated aromatic crops in India
- Lemongrass is a low maintenance crop which can grow in a wide variety of soil and climatic conditions
- First harvest of lemongrass can be done after 4 to 6 months of transplanting seedlings while subsequent harvests are done every 2 to 3 months depending upon soil fertility and other factors
Quanto Agro self-cultivates lemongrass without using any chemicals and pesticides along with several other sustainable agriculture practices. Lemongrass Essential Oil

Lemongrass Chunks
Our organically grown lemongrass is available as chunks. It has fresh, lemony aroma and a citrus flavor. It is used as a folk remedy to promote sleep, relieve pain, and boost immunity.
Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 to 3 teaspoons of our lemongrass chunks. Add sugar or honey as per your requirement. Steep for at least five minutes and strain the tea. Enjoy hot or add ice cubes for iced lemongrass tea.
Lemongrass Hydrosol
Hydrosols are like essential oils but in far less concentration. Our Lemongrass Hydrosol is steam distilled using fresh organic Lemongrass grown in our farms. It has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties and can be used in toners, creams, lotions, body sprays, room sprays and in place of water in most formulations. It imparts both earthy lemon fragrance and therapeutic benefits. It is also used as wetting agents in clay facials and an exceptional way to enjoy the benefits of essential oils in a water-soluble product.
Lemongrass Tea-cut
We provide organically grown lemongrass in tea-cut form as well. Our in-house processing unit is capable of making tea-cut as per various specifications and requirements. It can be readily included in tea products (5% and above by weight) to promote sleep, relieve pain, and boost immunity
Steam Distillation Units
We specialize in manufacturing customized distillation units which help improve essential oil yield, overall productivity, and reduce operational costs. Our ‘zero waste’ concept ensures that we eliminate/minimize use of fossil fuels for the distillation process. We are experienced in designing and manufacturing custom-made distillation unit based on the type of plant used for extracting essential oils, production capacity, and construction material (stainless steel, mild steel, etc.) among other critical factors for steam distillation technology. Our distillation units are user-friendly, fully integrated, and easy to operate.
