Quanto Agroworld understands the value of water, especially when more than half of the world is suffering from water scarcity. Rainwater harvesting helps restore the ground water by collection and storage of rain, rather than allowing it to run off. This helps serve as a cheap and reliable source of clean water for farming during dry spells.

One of Quanto Agroworld’s initiative is to harness the power of the sun through solar power plants in their farmlands for the routine farming operations. This not only helps reduce the overall cost of energy in the long term but also decreases the agricultural carbon footprint in the respective farmlands.

Quanto Agroworld undertakes responsible production, consumption, reuse and recovery of all products, packaging, and materials to the extent feasible. For instance, it uses lemongrass (after steam distillation) as the boiler fuel instead of fossil fuel for its processing operations. Similarly, some parts of its processing facilities are constructed using building materials from waste. Quanto Agroworld is using sustainable packaging materials that are recyclable or biodegradable for its retail businesses.

Quanto Agroworld partakes in various charity drives by providing fresh produce from its farmlands to charitable organizations and marginalized communities in regions where it operates. It believes that everyone should have access to basic needs and a right to a healthy life.

Quanto Agroworld aims at sequestering atmospheric carbon into the soil and in crop roots through a variety of agricultural methods. This not only helps in improving agricultural yield but also helps slow or reverse atmospheric CO2 pollution and mitigate climate change. This aids to Quanto Agroworld’s objective of limiting its carbon footprint and eventually become carbon neutral across all of its operations.

Quanto Agroworld strives to closely work with farmers in India to help improve their social and economic conditions. One of the fundamental reasons behind creation of Quanto Agroworld is to help farmers in India understand market trend and focus on crops providing better economic returns. It frequently has community wide discussions with its farmer friends on topics such as importance of literacy, hygiene, use of new technologies in farming, and sustainable agricultural practices.
